You can use Leca for different purposes. You can add it to your soil/aroid mix (It is also an ingredient of the Kelsplants Aroid mix)
I also use it as a propagation medium at the bottom of the cup. (Semi Hydro Culture) The roots move downwards in search of air and moisture. (In my experience this works well) This is the main reason that I offer this product on my webshop.
You can also use it completely as a growth medium, this is called hydro culture.
